​About the Artist: 

Leslie E. A. Hanner has been creative for as long as she can remember. Raised in Port St. Lucie, FL, her family has always supported her interests by encouraging her to find her passion.  Leslie won numerous awards for her art pieces in high school and college, and ultimately earned her Bachelors degree in Business/Advertising from the University of Florida before moving to Tampa to work in the corporate world.  Fast forward some years, a husband and three children later, the family is now back in Port St. Lucie and Leslie is a full-time homeschool mom and artist.  

Leslie's desire is to create as much as possible, whenever possible.  With life being so busy, it's important to make time for what makes you happy, and for Leslie that means painting in watercolors, acrylics and oil paint.  From fine details to loose brushstrokes, Leslie paints in various styles and changes things up to keep learning and to explore exciting challenges.  If interested, please follow the art process through Instagram (@LeslieHannerArt) and YouTube (channel: @Leslie Hanner Art)  

In 2015, Leslie started her company, Capture The Art, and has been teaching adults and kids who want a fun, relaxed atmosphere to learn and explore their inner artist with step by step instruction.  We have traveled across the USA for corporate events with groups of up to 120 painters!  Please contact Leslie if you would like to hold a private party (large or small), which is great for team-building, fundraising or celebrations!  All supplies needed to create a specified design will be provided.  Even the complete beginner can feel comfortable painting along with a group for support!  Check out the painting events page for more information and follow on www.Facebook.com/CaptureTheArt or Instagram: @capturetheart_leslie
